Convert Un-resumable Download Links To Resumable Downloads !!

Unknown | 8:51 PM | 1 Comment so far
The only reason many people use Torrent is that they are afraid that their download may fail in spite of the low speed it has got. And the main problem is that they don't wanna take chances with their download. If you too are facing that problem then you're saved. I have got a method which lets you download files directly from an FTP server - a fully resumable! In this method you can get files from most of the file sharing networks directly and also you can use it to keep a backup of your site and store files online as well. But you wouldn't actually be getting the file from that particular file sharing network, the file that you want to download will first be grabbed by a separate site to their server and then you can direct download that file from that server to your own computer. The server that is going to grab your files for you has a pretty decent internet speed, so you don't have to worry about the process taking time. So, let's start .

Go to https://www.adrive.com/login/signup

There are different plans available. Besides the Basic plan other cost money. So, on the drop down list saying "Please select your plan", choose "Basic - Free". The basic plan gives you the ability to store 50 GB worth of files on their server. That is plenty, in my opinion. Even if you run out of space, you can always delete the earlier files to make space for the new ones. Enter the required information on the SignUp page and validate your account.

Now, get the link of the file you want to download. Remember, the link should contain the address of the file including the extension. Though you can do this on megaupload files, but this doesn't work for every file sharing sites since many redirect you to an html page or do not show the actual link of the files.

Login to your adrive account and click on Transfer Remote File.

Enter the link of the file in the empty field and click on Retrieve.

Let it complete. It won’t take much time. An 800 MB file normally takes around 8-10 minutes to get downloaded by the server. Don't close the window or browser while the server is grabbing the file.

After the transfer is complete, you’ll be redirected to the file manager.

Right click on your file, you'll see similar stuff on your screen :

Now click on Download to begin downloading.

The download can be paused and resumed. But, if you try to pause it for a longer period and try resuming again, it might not resume. So, you need to have Internet Download Manager (IDM) installed on your computer and I guess many of you are already using it. With this software, you'll be able to resume at any time. Else you can get it from here (Free): http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com

Install the program. Remember to install the browser extension as well or it won't work. Web-browser extension is automatically installed while installing the program. This software will download the files from adrive after you click on the “download” button.

Let us suppose you paused your download for a longer time. You'll see something similar to the following picture, if you try resuming after pausing for a long time on IDM.

All you've got to do now is right click on the particular file and click on the Refresh download address.

IDM will then show a notification. Don't click on stop waiting. Leave it like that.

Head over to your adrive account. Right click on that particular file to resume and click on Download. Again a box will pop out notification.

Press on Ok. Then right click on the file and click on Resume download and it will resume.

That's it. You can transfer backups of your site, files, softwares or anything else on adrive and direct -download it later easily.

Watch Youtube Videos with Externally Loaded Subtitles !!

Unknown | 7:20 AM | Be the first to comment!
Since I am a Movie enthusiast it has always been a great problem for me to watch movies on You Tube  even though i mostly download from torrent and watch. So I thought of finding the solution for this problem and the result is this article infront of you guys. So, here is a list of ways to add subtitles on YouTube Video that does not belong to you.The subtitle will not be permanently embedded or hard-coded onto the YouTube video. We will be using a software or add-on which will play the caption alongside the YouTube video. Note that although this post talks about YouTube only, the methods listed below can be used on any online video streaming sites (eg. Vimeo, Putlocker, Metacafe, Dailymotion etc).

First of all, get the subtitle of the movie/video from sites such as Subscene or Opensubtitle, and then use any of the methods below.

Web Add-Ons
Google Chrome users can use this simple extension to view subtitles/captions on YouTube. Drag and Drop the .srt file on the highlighted area under the video and it will display there. It supports only .srt subtitle files.

Other add-on is Video Grabber. It requires you to do is  install the add-on (available for both Chrome and Mozilla) and then go to Youtube/video streaming site. When you open a video on the browser, click on the icon of the Video Grabber to activate it. Once it is activated, it will automatically open the currently streaming video, on another interface, from where you can load subtitles.

Subtitle Players
Load the subtitle onto the subtitle player, and drag it over the streaming YouTube video. There are plenty of subtitle players available online. Some of my favorites are :

JustSubPlayer : It allows you to easily search for texts in the subtitle file, and lets you jump quickly to it. Supports .srt files only.

Greenfish Subtitle Player : Easy to use and very small in size (11 KB). Supports .srt only.

TitleDrome : The free version of TitleDrome Lite is very limited. So, try the 30 days trial of paid version instead. To move the subtitles, click on "Show borders" button on the left control box. Then drag the window.

Access website loading slow faster without upgrading anything !!

Unknown | 1:34 PM | Be the first to comment!
This is a global problem that sometime we need to access a website like urgently and the website loads very slow. If you are facing the same problem than for the solution i guess this the the right place.

It’s simple, just add .nyud.net at end of the domain and you will be able to load the website at better speed. But suppose you want to download Kali Linux , which can be downloaded from

URLhttp://www.download.com.np/index.php?option=xkx6MYC9Plxn1kFlPjfu5IMwegPILTeROMdQgdOqPcg&file=--vXxSu8Tp2uHgOXAaYlx5mX0pAwLOI50xfM8S9RRvs

then how would you load it faster ? Again you have to just add .nyud.net after the main domain and keep everything same, i.e.

 http://www.download.com.np.nyud.net/index.php?option=xkx6MYC9Plxn1kFlPjfu5IMwegPILTeROMdQgdOqPcg&file=--vXxSu8Tp2uHgOXAaYlx5mX0pAwLOI50xfM8S9RRvs

Now how it works ?

This is a free service provided by Coral CDN, a free content delivery network(CDN). It uses peer-to-peer technology to load website in your computer, which results in even faster website. It is a network of proxies and nameservers through which content is distrubuted to you at faster speed.

Scan links you open for virus and malware !!

Unknown | 7:14 AM | Be the first to comment!
This is an obvious question, while surfing Internet, daily we come to links which point to a website which we never visited earlier. Though we can prevent us clicking on the new ‘suspicious’ link, but what if my friend had sent me and it’s urgent to access it, in this case how you would make sure your computer will stay safe ?

In this article we will learn how we can find whether the link contains virus, malware or trojan and is harmful or not.The best way to find whether the URL which you want to access is harmful or not is to scan it and check whether it contains malware, virus, trojan, keylogger or any such harmful program which may get installed in your computer automatically and harm your PC and steal your data.

Don’t worry, it’s not so difficult to scan a URL for malware, there are many of the online service which provide user option to scan any suspicious website and that too for Free. Suppose someone gave you any suspicious link such as www.example.com/abc/phis/hck.php then how would you find it’s safe or not ?

You can make sure that URL is not harmful by first using free Comodo Web Inspector, visit siteinspector.comodo.com, enter the suspicious URL and click on START THE SCAN button, wait for few seconds for scan to complete and results will be in front of you, it will let you know whether it found any malware on site or not, if it says the link is harmful, don’t open the link, but if it says it’s safe then you can open the link.

Second free service to scan suspicious URL is Zulu URL Risk Analyzer, visit zulu.zscaler.com, enter the suspicious URL, click on Submit URL button, wait for some time, it will scan the website and give it a score from 0 to 100, where 0 means completely safe and 100 means completely harmful. This website scans all the elements and tells whether they are Belign, Suspicious or Malicious. Though this service is helpful in advance thorough scanning, it has also reported false positive on safe site.

Third free service which will help you to find whether URL is safe or not is VirusTotal, visit www.virustotal.com/en/#url and enter your URL and click on Scan it! button. Wait for few seconds and it will check the reputation of website from various directories and will check whether it was ever marked as suspicious or malicious or not. It will give you test results, and if you find that it’s not malicious then you can access the URL.

Access content when website is down !!

Unknown | 3:00 PM | Be the first to comment!
We heavily depend on search engines to find what we desperately look for. Search Engines such as Google and Bing most of the times help us to find the solution of the problem we are facing. Many time it happens that we come to a website which provides exciting content, may be the solution of our problem or an article which we were looking for but when we open it we find that the website is down. In this case it becomes difficult to access the content when website is down.

Actually its very easy to get an entire webpage which is listed in search result even when that webpage has been deleted, or website hosting that page is down. Most of the popular search engines cache the webpage they are indexing. They save cache version of webpage on their server which helps users to access it in case the user found the current webpage removed or different from what was shown in search result.

How to get cache version of a webpage ? It’s quite simple if you use Google search engine, i will show you with an example the process of getting webcache version of the webpage you want.
Suppose in a Google search you came to a website about link to download software. Next when you click on the link you find that website www.download.com.np, which is hosting that webpage is down or webpage has been deleted. In this if you want to access the content i.e. the webpage then you have to first copy the URL of that page, in our example it is – www.download.com.np Once you got the URL of webpage of which you want to get cache version the next step is to open www.Google.com, in search-box of Google exactly type

                                                          "cache: http://www.download.com.np"

without quotes and press Search button. That’s it,  now you will get the cache version of the page of which URL you had typed. Use the same string every time you want to find webcache version of the page i.e. cache:YOUR_URL and replace YOUR_URL with actual URL of the webpage.

Stay anonymous online !!

Unknown | 7:30 AM | Be the first to comment!
To begin with, if you still believe that staying anonymous online is related with illegal cyber activities then you are wrong. Staying anonymous has another side too beside criminal activities. Staying hidden on Internet can help you too in many ways like it’s helping thousands of Internet users worldwide. Your location can be easily traced on a normal connection because on a normal Internet connection you have an IP address. Most of the websites today logs IP of every visitor of the website. By simple method people can know who is your ISP by knowing your IP address and if we go more further, people can also find location of your computer. So in such cases, staying anonymous has helped many times.

Today we gonna learn some techniques to stay hidden, anonymous online. There are different levels of anonymity, we will start from basics and move towards advance.

Change your browser

If you are still using Google Chrome or any other browser then STOP using them, I recommend you to start using Firefox browser. The reason why I am recommending Firefox is quite simple – First, the organization behind this wonderful browser is a non-profit organization. The community is quite big too and second, you can protect your privacy on Firefox more better than any other browser, thanks to it’s plugins.

Change your Search Engine

If you simply don’t want someone to know what you are searching over Internet, then obviously you have to say good bye to Google. I agree it would be hard to leave Google, it’s been in the business from over a decade but if you care for your pircay then you have to let it go. So to prevent others from logging info about what you are search on Internet then use DuckDuckGo.com, it’s popular for it’s tough privacy policy.

Get a proxy

As I said earlier, you can be easily tracked by your IP address and the solution of this can be a Proxy. When you visit a website through proxy, it’s accessed from a Proxy server and therefore the IP address of proxy server is logged on the website you are visiting not your own IP address. Proxies also help in bypassing country specific restrictions, you can grab the IP of required country and visit the website and you will get the access. There are various types of proxy, many of them can reveal your IP address so be carefull with it. You can even get highly anonymous proxies from Spys.ru (http://spys.ru/en/)

Grab a VPN

Proxies help you in hiding your IPs but there is higher level too, VPNs. Simply, VPN is like opening website in someone else’s computer, it hides your IP along with entire network. It’s superior than proxies. There are many free VPN providers such as VPN Book but it is always recommended to purchase your own VPN server, in some other country and change the server regularly, the best way to stay anonymous online.

the last but not least
Store nothing

You can also use pre-configure JonDo live CDs , it includes everything which can help you stay anonymous. Beside these anonymous stuff, it also includes basic tools and Libre Office office solution.

So these were some of the simple and easy ways to stay anonymous online and protect privacy but remember that there is no bulletproof service, the more complex tools you use, the more difficult it becomes to track you.
