Facebook is the most used Social network nowadays. Almost everybody has a Facebook account. In fact one can get loads of information about somebody from their Facebook account. When it comes to privacy, Facebook might not be the best platform. As it is said that there are all kinds of workaround for everything, therefore there is a workaround for removing the middle name and last name from your Facebook profile as well.In order to create a Facebook account the user has to pass through various security checks, this is because Facebook does not want any scam or fake profile. 2. Now go to http://www.hidemyass.com/proxy-list/

3. Search for a proxy in “Indonesia” with Port no. “8080″ and all other settings.

4. Now make note of the first IP address.

5. Now go to  Firefox > Options > Options.

6. Now select  Advanced > Network > Settings…

7. Select Manual proxy configuration and enter the proxy you noted in step(4) in HTTP Proxy field and 8080 in Port. Also mark “Use this proxy server for all protocols”. Type the same IP address in the “No Proxy” box and click Ok.

8. Now login to your Facebook account, go to account settings and change the language to Bahasa Indonesia. Now try to remove your last name and the thing of surprise is Facebook allows you to save your name without the last name.

9. Now change the language back to whatever you want.

Finally we end with you having a single word Facebook name.

From the Hashtag feed you can also compose posts directly. For newbies, however, there are a few things to keep in mind. Here’s how to get started with hashtagging your News Feed.

1. Create a hashtag.
Anyone can make anything into a hashtag by adding a # in front of a word, acronym or phrase with no spaces. On Facebook, this is no different. As soon as you use the # symble a blue box will appear over your tag. Then click Post. Your tag will appear in bold within your status update.
It is important to remember, however, that this system is a simple form of organization, and can often run amok. For instance, I can say # thingsididwheniwasonmypc (without space), but how often will I ever use that hashtag? If the answer is never, it’s probably not a great hashtag to use. To find out if a hashtag is trending there are a couple of websites worth checking out: www.hashtags.org and hashtagify.me.

2. Click your hashtag.
After your post is up, you can click on your new tag to see who else is using that same phrase and what they are saying. For instance, clicking on # Hashtag (without space) brought up separate feed from my News Feed with a list of people’s posts; some of whom we know and others we do not. Within this same feed, you can click on your Status bar to have that same hashtag automatically added to an update.

3. Search for hashtags.
Facebook is tracking those hashtags people are using, so a feed is always available even if you’ve not previously used the tag in a Facebook status update of your own. Simply type the tag of your choice, such as # cats (without space), and click the page labeled Hashtag. This will open the same feed of related posts as you would get if you clicked on a hashtag in a post.

Hello geeks , today im gonna teach you how to auto logout from Facebook after a certain time. We will be ad addon which will help you to set a time after which your account will be automatically logged out from Facebook. Ok here we go . .

Can you ever imagine that a single text message is enough to hack any Facebook account without user interaction or without using any other malicious stuff like Trojans, phishing, keylogger etc. ?

Today we are going to explain you how UK based Security Researcher, "fin1te" was able to hack any Facebook account within a minute by doing one SMS.

Because 90% of us are Facebook user too, so we know that there is an option of linking your mobile number with your account, which allows you to receive Facebook account updates via SMS directly to your mobile and also you can login into your account using that linked number rather than your email address or username.
According to hacker, the loophole was in phone number linking process, or in technical terms, at file /ajax/settings/mobile/confirm_phone.php

This particular webpage works in background when user submit his phone number and verification code, sent by Facebook to mobile. That submission form having two main parameters, one for verification code, and second is profile_id, which is the account to link the number to.

As attacker, follow these steps to execute hack:
Change value of profile_id to the Victim's profile_id value by tampering the parameters. Send the letter F to 32665, which is Facebook’s SMS short code in the UK. You will receive an 8 character verification code back. Enter that code in the box or as confirmation_code parameter value and Submit the form.
Facebook will accept that confirmation code and attacker's mobile number will be linked to victim's Facebook profile.In next step hacker just need to go to Forgot password option and initiate the password reset request against of victim's account.Attacker now can get password recovery code to his own mobile number which is linked to victim's account using above steps. Enter the code and Reset the password! Facebook no longer accepting the profile_id parameter from the user end after receiving the bug report from the hacker. In return, Facebook paying $20,000 to fin1te as Bug Bounty.
